Thor’s murals in the Asgardian castle in Thor Ragnarok also serve a nice foreshadowing moment, in the film, Helo tears down the murals from the ceiling, and Thor’s face can be seen cracked in his left eye.
This foreshadows how Hela will blind Thor later on in the film, in the same eye. It also serves as a symbolic moment, with Thor’s halo and beard serving as Jesus imagery to associate his sacrifice with that made by Jesus.
