The highest moment of the MCU obviously came during Avengers: Endgame, when Cap finally lifted Mjolnir, and Thor exclaimed “I Knew It!”, since he knew that Cap was worthy. We can actually see the exact moment that Thor realizes this in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the film, Cap tries lifting Mjolnir, and the hammer actually moves.
At that moment, we can see Thor’s face turn to shock. Director Joss Weadon said that at that moment Cap could have lifted the shield, but when he realized that he could, he stopped so he wouldn’t hurt Thor’s feelings.
