We can’t imagine a time that doctors would ever condone smoking cigarettes, but here is a Camel ad depicting just that. It is true that there was not much knowledge about the dangers of cigarettes in those days, but now we are more aware.
These days, a doctor would tell you to stop smoking, rather than recommend a specific brand. However, in the past, doctors were just as much into the smoking scene as everybody else.
