Everyone likes to get a souvenir when they go on vacation, but it’s pretty rare to just have a souvenir given to you by a stranger. But it seems like that’s what happened with these. Some guy was walking around in Germany on a trip and a stranger confronted them with these small medallions.
They naturally had no idea what they were, so they asked Reddit. It turns out that they are called walking stick medallions and are basically an old equivalent of those National Park bumper stickers that people get nowadays. A cool way to flex your travels.
