The item that you see in this photo is indeed a cup. It’s odd design might have you brainstorming all kinds of alternative uses that it might be employed for, but nope, this is just a simple, regular cup. Well… kinda.
It’s a cup with a twist. The person who found it didn’t know this, but this is what is known as the Pythagoras cup. It is designed in such a way that it will start to leak once it is filled past a certain point – specifically, the top of the pole in the middle of the cup.
