[post_page_title]A wool sower gall[/post_page_title]
If we came across this in nature, we’re not sure what we would do. While it is interesting looking, we would probably just assume it’s another weird part of a plant and just leave it be. Plus, who wants to just touch random, unidentified things in nature? You might get a rash! Apparently this person wasn’t afraid of a rash, though, and grabbed it for pictures.
It turned out to be a wool sower gall. Wool sower galls grow when gall wasp grubs secrete a substance which causes plants to develop things that look like this.
