We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: the ocean is a dang weird place. It’s filled with all kinds of creatures that hardly look anything like what we consider creatures to look like. Here’s a great example.
This person snapped a photo of this puddle of goo that they saw on the beach in Maine, and they later learned that it was actually an animal. A tunicate, in fact. Another common name for this type of animal: sea pork. We definitely aren’t seeing pork in this thing, though. Looks pretty yucky to us.
