Keeps the doctor away, as they say. Unless your apple has this stuff on it. We’ve all heard tales of worms being inside apples, but it’s not all that uncommon to find other kinds of things on (or in) the fruits.
Someone found this odd growth on an apple and decided to consult the Internet before munching away. To their dismay, they learned that those things were actually the eggs of a bug called the lacewing. The moral of the story here? Check your apples before you eat them. No one wants lacewing eggs for breakfast.
