This person has a serious knife collection, and one day they were given this knife that you see in the photo. They struggled to find out what it was for more than two decades, but no one could ever figure it out. The interesting part was the small stick that it came with.
The Internet can’t be fooled, though, and someone quickly wrote in with the knife’s identity. Apparently the knife goes all the way back to the Qing dynasty, when China was ruled by Emperor Qianlong. The knife wasn’t used for combat, though. It was used for eating.
