Mold is one of the weirdest things on the planet. It’s alive, we guess, but it doesn’t really resemble any other living organisms that we are familiar with. It just naturally grosses us out too, so we definitely feel a strong aversion to this photo.
It doesn’t take an expert to guess that this is just mold growing in a jar, but an expert did happen to come along and confirm this theory. The best part? They talked about how jealous they were of this slime mold and how the original poster should keep it as a pet.
