Sometimes we just can’t help being a little more nosy than we should be while out in public. It was none of this person’s business to know what was going on with the headwear of these two religious women, but they couldn’t help being curious. We get it.
They snapped a picture (risky move, but we respect it) and asked the Internet for some help. Apparently this particular head ornament is called the Crown of the Five Holy Wounds, which is worn by nuns from the Bridgettine order. So all of their sisters rock the same look, we’re guessing.
