Note to everyone reading this: the next time you are walking through the woods and find some medication, just leave it be. Not really worth messing with. Who knows where that thing has been? Anyway, this person decided to be a little braver than us and pick up this abandoned oxycodone bottle and look inside. They found a bundle of odd electronics.
Apparently this is a relatively common method used for locating people who steal medicine from stores. So there was never any oxycodone inside. The thief probably realized this and ditched the bottle in the woods. Mystery solved.
