One thing’s for sure, salt and metal don’t mix. This means that while living next to an ocean can have its advantages, the worry about salt is also prevalent. Taking a look at the doorknob on the right is understanding what can happen when metal gets exposed to too much salt.
The knob is corroded so badly that it looks as if it’s about to fall right off. Quite honestly, it looks like a slab of concrete, and would probably bust like concrete if it hit the ground.
