Holy smokes, it might be time for the store owners to consider replacing that door. They could just keep the door in storage to always have the memories, while giving the look of their store a boost with a brand-new door.
Then again, if it’s a store that sells antiques and such, the worn-out door would add to the overall feel of the store. Either way, the question presented is one that we wonder about as well. How many people walked into the store through that door?
