Though Black Widow and comic-book Taskmaster are so different they may as well be unrelated characters, they do share one thing in common – photographic reflexes that enable them to mimic the fighting styles of anyone they observe. Indeed, if you watch closely, you’ll see Dreykov’s daughter pulling off some pretty familiar moves.
Her first scene has her watching Hawkeye and Black Panther’s airport fight from Captain America: Civil War, and it later pays off – twice. She uses Hawkeye’s bow mastery in Budapest, then Black Panther’s claw attack in the climactic Red Room assault. Heck, at one point she even steals Natasha’s pose that Yelena can’t stop ragging on!
