Like every other Marvel movie – except Avengers: Endgame – Black Widow also has an additional scene after the credits. In a tradition thought up by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige himself, Black Widow’s scene doesn’t disappoint. The majority of the movie’s plot takes place in 2016, but the end-credits scene takes place in the present-day, meaning 2023/2024.
Yelena visits Natasha’s grave, as she lost her life on Vormir. She does her and Natasha’s whistle, which has been their thing since they were girls, and puts her forehead to Natasha’s headstone. That’s exactly what Yelena and her sister did when they were reunited after the Red Room’s destruction.
