We don’t know where we stand on this one. Part of us commends the mother for a memorable and creative punishment. After all, a haircut isn’t permanent and it’s going to a good cause. In the end, surely, this teen learned her lesson.
But it’s hard to say whether something as traumatic as having your hair cut off as a constant reminder of your follies won’t leave a lasting mark on this kids psyche. She’s an adolescent, after all, and still impressionable. Only time will tell.
