If you ever find that water doesn’t seem to be draining very quickly, it’s probably because something is clogging the pipes. Sometimes, this can be things like bits of food from the kitchen sink or stray hairs from the shower.

Other times, however, it can apparently be the roots of a tree. We don’t imagine this homeowner was thrilled to discover that something this size had been growing in their pipes. The last time we checked, roots were supposed to grow in the ground, not inside people’s plumbing.
