We have to say that we are not sad to say goodbye to this makeup look that was all the hype in the 90s, because brown lipstick was certainly a tragic trend. This grungy color was pretty popular, since it was moody and dark enough to be mysterious, but not too dark to be labelled as goth-like, or emo.
Apparently it was cool during this time to look as though you were colored with an auburn crayon, with complete disregard for what actually looks good.
