These days, braids are a hairstyle designated for one occasion, and one occasion only: festivals. However, the 90s was a decade that seemed to think that braids did not require to be accompanied by a flower crown. Yes, these randomly placed braids were all the hype during this time, and pretty much symbolized being the coolest, most chilled kid around.
Honestly, we think it looks a bit like having friendship bracelets hanging from your hair, but then again, who knows what trends of today they’ll mock in the future?
