When the movie, ‘The Matrix,’ came out, everybody wanted to own Neo’s long, leather jacket. However, this maxi length is not so practical, and resonated more with a goth style.
However, actors and models like Winona Ryder and Kate Moss interpreted the long leather jacket into a leather blazer, which was a bit shorter and more fashionable. Eventually, this became outdated, and people today favor a more classic, crop, biker jacket, with a long leather jacket rarely being seen.
