We often see the aftermath of natural disasters put into terms of how much damage has been done. Photos and videos focus on showing what things have been destroyed, which is certainly an utterly important aspect of it. But there is another side of the natural disaster story that many people don’t discuss: life slowly going back to normal afterwards.
Despite the fact that this landscape has nearly been turned upside down, this lone bike rider continues on his route. And hey, he has the road all to himself. No cars to worry about.
