Water is a paradoxical part of nature. It is one of the main forces in the world that allows life to exist, making it a symbol of creation and comfort. Yet it also has amazingly powerful destructive capabilities. Floods may not sound all that dangerous to you if you’ve never experienced one, but you can rest assured that floods are just as awful as any other natural disaster.
This photo shows a village that was completely overwhelmed by a flood to the point where it hardly existed once the damage began. The ground is nowhere to be seen.
