[post_page_title]Crosswinds[/post_page_title]
This unfortunate tree was caught in the crosswinds of a storm of debris. The tree in the background was knocked over by the wind, and so normally it would be a cause for celebration that this one stayed upright. Unfortunately, it got a pretty big splinter. If this was a form of natural archery, this shot would definitely be a bullseye.
The absolutely astounding strength of the wind was able to pierce this tree with a piece of wood, creating a natural cross. We guess the lesson here is: if you cross the crosswind, the crosswind might just cross you.
