After flash floods hit communities extremely hard in and around Lima, Peru, many residents and homes were left isolated, with their only route of escape being through the treacherous flood waters.

Luckily for these residents in the Huachipa populous district just east of Lima, firefighters and other rescue teams were able to act quickly and establish a way to safely travel over the water using a zip line. The hard work of these responders made the sticky situation much more lighthearted and manageable for local residents.
