After Hurricane Otto hit Costa Rica, many people and animals were displaced from their homes. Lots of time was spent rebuilding and re-situating all of the living creatures in the areas that were hit badly, and a lot of work had to be put in.
This photograph shows a sloth that was troubled by the weather and needed some help. We aren’t sure if it was trying to feel safe by gripping onto something, but what we do know is that if we were there, we’d give it the big hug it clearly needs.
