Winters in Yosemite National Park in the United States can be very brutal. Most of the animals there have adapted to be able to withstand extreme weather conditions of many varieties.
This shot depicts the beautiful serene calmness that followed a massive storm in Yosemite where it snowed so heavily that it was hard to see a few feet in front of you. It is amazing how beautifully quiet it looks, especially knowing what was happening in the not-so-distant past.
