This photo is a huge, bright beam of light coming from the darkness that usually surrounds a natural disaster and the recovery efforts following. It is very heartwarming to see so many people coming together to navigate the hardship of a flood. It is a great reminder of the importance of community and caring for each other.
Everyone lives such different lives day to day, and times like this remind us to be grateful to those around us. Plus, with that much weight on one boat, you’re going to need a lot of people paddling to get anywhere!
