Yeah, whoever among the teachers or administration wrote these, have missed the entire point. Spelling out CATS when talking about how students should behave in the classroom or cafeteria, doesn’t really make sense unless those four letters make out the first letter of the word in question. And it’s not even very hard!
They could for example have written “Carefully following directions”, “Aways showing eagerness to learn”, “Trying their best to complete assignments on time”, and so on.
