As Tom Brady has proven in the modern NFL, having an experienced head on the field can be hugely beneficial to a team’s fortunes. Brady wasn’t the only elder statesman to grace the football field over the years, as Ken Stabler proves in this photograph.
He played for the Saints between the ages of 36 and 38, but he appears much older thanks to his gray locks. Brady might have seemed like a man twice his age, but clearly, he was able to bring his A-game to the football field.
