Sadly, Jim Croce was just 30 years old when he tragically lost his life in a plane crash. The folk and rock songwriter was prolific during his short career, releasing five hit albums as well as a long list of singles.
Croce couldn’t have been older than 30 years old in this photograph, but his retro style and huge mustache make him seem like he’s much older. The star passed away after his plane crashed in 1973, leaving his family and fans devastated by their loss.
