The retro uniforms these basketball players are wearing add to the vintage aesthetic, but it’s not the only thing that is aging them. These athletes were in great shape, but you could easily have thought they were 10 or 20 years older than they actually were.
Those sideburns and classic hairstyles make these players seem like they were part of a dad’s basketball league, rather than the NBA. Perhaps everyone was just more mature during the 1970s than they are today.
