Back in 1984, ‘The Karate Kid’ was hitting theaters and inspiring kids around the world to get into martial arts. In that movie, Ray Macchio’s character was mentored by Pat Morita, otherwise known as Mr. Miyagi.
This is a picture of Macchio at roughly the same age as his mentor from the movie back in 1984. The difference in how old they look is incredible, although perhaps this is more due to the incredible genes of Macchio than anything else.
