Larry Bird was one of the greatest NBA players during his career, and he’s an icon of the sport. The Boston Celtics legend had the weight of an entire city on his shoulders as he led his franchise to three championships during the ‘80s.
All of the pressure seems to have taken its toll on Bird, who was no older than 30 when this picture was taken. Boston is known for being a demanding crowd, and Bird had to fight hard to keep his fans happy throughout his career.
