When someone proposes, the ring that they use to pop the question shouldn’t matter. Whether it costs $10 or $10,000, it’s meant to be the thought that counts. However, we could understand people being wary if this were the ring that their other half offered them.
Nothing says love like an extra finger, apparently. We get the joke – a finger ring for your ring finger – but it still doesn’t make this any more acceptable for a proposal. Well, unless the engagement were to happen on Halloween, that is.
