[post_page_title]Building good lookout spots[/post_page_title]
Truly, the best way to defend any type of building is to prevent the enemy from even getting close to it. This is where Bartizan towers would come into play for castles.
They were a pretty simple design concept, as they allowed the soldiers a convenient way to keep a lookout for potential invading forces and also their own men. On top of other design integrations that made the towers useful, they provided another layer of defense and strategy (two very important elements of defending a castle).
