What you’re seeing is a group of students watching over their beloved Pittsburgh Pirates from a faraway rooftop in the year 1960. For you baseball historians out there, you’ll know that this was the year that the Pirates won the World Series, which adds even more to this photo (looking back at it).
How cool would that be, though? To watch your favorite team from a rooftop and be able to actually see the stadium. Sure, you’d probably need binoculars, but it would be extremely amazing all the same.
