Arguably the most popular music artist of all-time is the Beatles, and one of their most famous album art covers was from Abbey Road.
The picture was taken on an August morning in 1969. Iain Macmillan, the photographer, had only around 10 minutes to get this photo taken, and he was on a stepladder waiting to get the shot. During the shot, a policeman had actually stopped traffic. The genuine creativity that went into that particular album art cover remains legendary to this very day.
