The Great Depression was no joke and those that lived through it can share what life was truly like. Then again, you can also look at a photo like this and get a good idea of how miserable it must’ve been.
It’s a photograph that is known simply as Migrant Mother, and it was taken during the events of The Great Depression. The one who took the shot was Dorothea Lange, and it shows a mother with her children. Seeing the worry in her eyes and the mood of the children truly says it all.
