Goodness, times were so much different back then. In the 19th century, it was so much harder to get your picture taken. It’s such a trivial task nowadays, but back then it had to be conducted by a professional.
Though the couple was supposed to take a formal photograph, they ended up having a little fun by the third shot. It started out professional, but then the two decided to let loose a little bit. It’s awesome because this almost looks like a comic strip, and you can see the story unfold with zero words present.
