[post_page_title]Celebrating the end[/post_page_title]
We can only imagine the relief when World War II had finally come to an end way back in 1945. To capture all the rejoice and festivities, a photographer by the name of Alfred Eisenstaedt decided to hit the streets of New York City. What he would end up capturing is a young sailor who was going around and kissing every woman he came across.
Eisenstaedt patiently waited for the best opportunity to take his shot and when the sailor grabbed a nurse and kissed her, he took it. This photo would then go down in history.
