During that cute honeymoon montage from Shrek 2, another tidbit that made us smile was this homage to an iconic Spiderman scene. You know the one we’re talking about. The oh so romantic kiss between Peter Parker and Mary Jane in the first installment of Spiderman movies (the ones starring Tobey Maguire).
In Shrek the upside down kiss takes place after Shrek gets caught in a trap, and Fiona heroically comes to his rescue. We love how they flipped who’s the hero in this romantic scene.
