If you want to learn more about how Shrek was made, and see the mistakes that were edited out of the final movies, you should get your hands on the DVDs.
There you can see scenes like these ones, which make Shrek look like a horror movie. A few other examples are Shrek with weirdly long legs, Fiona’s hair moving like its own entity, and Fairy Godmother’s bodyguard without arms…But they’re all just the result of technical glitches the animators got fixed.
