In Shrek 2, Shrek gets to experience something many of us would love. He drinks a happily ever after potion, and wakes up a stunningly handsome man. Not only that, three young women have gathered and are all arguing over who gets to touch this hot dude.
As Shrek, understandably very confused, says his head hurts, one of the women runs to get him water. She returns and introduces herself as Jill. So clearly, she’s Jill from that nursery rhymes that goes “Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.”
