We all know nothing is perfect, but the government exists so that the country can function relatively well. The whole point of paying taxes and being a good citizen is so that we can all live in a relatively healthy, safe, and organized community. We expect our roads and streetlights to work, so how come we don’t expect the same thing from our healthcare?
After all, if we all keel over because ambulances and doctors cost too much then who’s going to be left to pay those taxes?
