We call it patriotism, but we do admit our American flag habit sometimes gets out of hand. We hang American flags everywhere. On our porches, churches, hospitals, and even our doggy day-cares. We have American flags on our Harleys and our VW’s also.
We don’t even let our flags touch the ground and we fold them in a very particular way. As a country it borders on neurotic, and as the flags’ colors clash with our decor but, hey, it’s America. We do what we want.
