You see, we’re a new country. Our homes haven’t been around for hundreds of years and built from stone, bricks, or concrete. Some of these homes, single walled and made from wood, have only been around for a couple of decades. That said — we agree, much of the craftsmanship in our homes is shoddy.
(We’re looking at you, plastic crown molding.) Which may be why European see so many photos of tornado and hurricane-crushed American homes.
