To run a functional capitalist society, you have to have ads. Advertising is what greases our economy. It drives people to buy products and funds our entertainment industry. Advertising is the heartbeat of our culture. Sure, we have to sit through commercials for mommy makeovers, scented kitty litter, insomnia medication, but most of our commercials are witty and amusing.
Yes, we have a lot of advertisements, but we don’t seem to mind. You’ll get used to it!
