Europeans can’t imagine why stores and restaurants in America need to be icy cold. America likes its stores and shopping centers to feel as cold as the dairy section in our humongous Costco stores.
Even in the heat of summer, a person might need a sweater when going into shopping areas. There’s no need to take your coat off in the winter, because the inside of the shopping malls are as equally cold as the outside. It’s as if Americans actually like the feeling of frost bitten fingers.
