According a blogger who was writing under the alias Surgical Strikes, they had formerly worked as a writer’s assistant for Ellen. They said that she must be quite a talented actress, fooling everyone that she is nice, because Ellen was notoriously nasty on set.
The blogger continued on their post that the talk show host would accuse the writers of writing jokes that weren’t funny, glaring and hissing at the team when the director would call “cut.”
